Elon Musk bought 10% stake in TWTR

CategoriesHomepage

A question from reddit: how come the price of TWTR increased not upon the purchase, but upon the announcement?

And the answer: because on NYSE, the laws of supply and demand don’t matter, as there is infinite supply of shares of all companies. The fact that the purchase of a 10%(!) stake didn’t move the price one bit, should tell you all you need to know about how much fairness there is in this market (none).
