Earlier this month, Tokyo FinTech meetup took place in our Computer Futures’ office. Tokyo FinTech is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Japan and has more than 3,400 professionals in its membership. They aim to educate their members on new business models and technologies, create sustainable professional networks, and advance innovation in financial services domestically, and regionally.
We welcomed 50 guests, and all of the participants really enjoyed the intellectual session on the hot topic of “Natural Language Processing (NLP) in Finance”, followed by an in-person networking and socialising opportunity. We’re planning more fintech-related events in the future, including collaboration with other professional communities or organisations.
