Bank of Canada is losing money for the first time ever

To add to the list of central banks nearing default and/or losing money, the Bank of Canada is reporting being unprofitable for the first time ever:

As a reminder, central banks, whether operating legally or not, technically cannot default due to their capacity to create money out of thin air.
