Open Letter to Josiah #1

Hey bro,

I didn't want to type all of this out in an SMS.

  1. Here's the 12-part youtube video tutorial on how to replace hardtop hydraulics on a Mercedes SLK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwoKQhN4vhw&list=PLly4CMbpk7oxzfmMaPF6w5l1xEtmsKUXF
  2. vin wdbkk47f0xf105809 and it is a 1999 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK 230
  3. There is this option, expensive and maybe the best quality: https://tophydraulics.com/20-r170-slk
  4. I'm sure replacement parts are available on ebay for less, but I'm not sure if the quality will be good: https://ebay.io/m/xdtZX0
  5. I'm actually not sure what's broken and what needs replacement. Only the pump? Only one hose? Who knows. So I'll take suggestions on how to fix it. I'm open to replacing all of hydraulics if necessary.
  6. I'll probably help you out with this one, b/c no heavy lifting is involved
  7. The headliner also needs to be replaced on the mercedes, but that's such a minor thing that it can wait. Or it can rolled into this process at well, while we're at it.
  8. Please provide the address of your shop, via sms.
  9. Please provide a separate estimate for the hydraulics replacement.

The the Subaru:

  1. subaru vin is: 4s4bp61c457339502 and it's a 2005 OUTBACK 2.5I
  2. I have these rotors for the subaru that need to be installed:
    1.  rotors
  3. What's a "differential", do I need it? A shop told me I need to replace the *transmission*. Here are some options on ebay. All of the require commercial shipping address, all make it a point to emphasize that free shipping requires it:
    1. https://ebay.io/m/PWOYYe
    2. https://ebay.io/m/hl6sJD
    3. https://ebay.io/m/g7S1rP

Yep. So basically, let's confirm and buy the transmission,
